Lennon's developing his sense of humor. In the past the only ways to get him to laugh were by playing our "blanket game" or "toss the baby." In the past week or so he seems to have gotten a case of the giggles. When my mom does a silly little dance he cracks up. If I look at him a certain way he chuckles, like he really thinks I'm funny, he's not just laughing because he's happy. It's really cute.
He's also discovered how much fun it is to bang two objects together. He does this recklessly, hitting himself in the face with said objects repeatedly in the process. He really does everything recklessly. He hurts himself and bangs his head rather often, even though I watch him like a hawk and try to stop the accidents from occurring. But I guess that's pretty typical of babies. I predict Lennon will be that daredevil type of kid who attempts crazy stunts to impress his friends and winds up breaking bones and requiring stitches. He's very sturdy and solid though.
Another cute thing he's been doing is putting toys in his mouth and crawling away with them. It totally reminds me of how a cat will walk around carrying something in its mouth. My little kitten :)
